On Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the Temple University, Ambler Campus, the annual Greater Philadelphia Tour de Cure bicycle race is happening and the the American Diabetes Association is is encouraging cyclists to register.

From the Philadelphia Tribune:

The event raises funds through registration fees and pledges for research and other programs aimed at stopping the devastating disease.

 

Individuals and teams, whose members can be co-workers, family or friends, will have a choice of five routes of varying distances, ranging from 3 miles to 100 miles. More than 65,000 cyclists and volunteers from across the country are expected to participate.
