In an e-mail sent to Co-op members on Friday evening, the Ambler Food Co-op announced that they have, as of Friday, April 7th, officially become part of Weavers Way Co-op. Weavers Way is taking over the site at 217 E Butler Ave, a former Bottom Dollar food market. All equity formally held by the Ambler Co-op has been turned over to Weavers Way.

From the Ambler Food Co-op:

“In the coming months, the corporation that is Ambler Food Co-op will dissolve. But the work that we all did together to make this happen is now tangible, and we have a place to call our own. Together, we will make it great for our community.”

All current Ambler Food Co-op members can expect to receive an e-mail from Weavers Way that will let members log in to the Weavers Way members center.

There will be an Open House at the 217 E Butler Ave site on Saturday from 3 to 6 pm for current members. There will be live music and refreshments, including beer from Forest and Main.
