Final Ambler Farmers’ Market of the Season this Saturday

The Ambler Farmers’ Market is setting up for the last time this season on Saturday, October 29th, from 9 am to 1 pm and there is a lot going on.

The Ambler EAC will be on hand and will make bird feeders with the children (or anyone who wants to) to help attract birds to your property and will also have information about how to “reduce your lawn” by creating “no-mow zones” of native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees and how this helps the environment.

The Ambler Food Co-op will be doing Halloween Buttons and Halloween coloring sheets for the kiddies and will have more information about their brick and mortar location and their merger with Weavers Way Coop.

Howe Sharp knife sharpening will be at the market to sharpen any blade you have that used to be dull. This is a great opportunity to get your knives sharpened before the Thanksgiving Holiday which is just around the corner.

Mermaid Art Studios will be offering Halloween Face Painting – $3 for a cheek, $5 for a face.

At 10:15, the Jeanne Sorg, Mayor of Ambler, will be reading Halloween stories.

Wireworx – a unique line of hand crafted glass and metal serve ware is the crafter at the market for Saturday – A perfect gift for a variety of occasions.

There will be 18 vendors at the market including fresh produce, breads, pastries, pastured meats and more.

Children who show up in costume get a shiny apple.
