On Thursday night at Trax Restaurant and Cafe at 9 pm, Will Paynter and Jay Popky will be performing an acoustic set with special guest Stacy Weathers.

Will Paynter performs as a solo singer/songwriter and as the leader of SONOMA SOUND, which features the talents of 4 exceptional musicians including Jay Popky on vocals & guitar.

We play a sonic tapestry of original roots music with threads of Americana, Blues, Folk, Jazz and World rhythms that blur the boundaries of musical category. Our live performance is a fusion of conscious lyrics sung over steady rhythms with wandering melodic solos. It is straight up roots music, unlike anything you have heard before.

Stacy Weathers has playing banjo since her teens and has played with numerous acts including Sarah and the Arrows, Meghan Cary with Analog Gypsies, Kicking Down Doors, and Water’s Edge.
