New Office-Lab Park Slated for Lower Gwynedd

Horsham-based real estate company, the MRA group, announced that they have purchased Rohm & Hass’s former campus in Lower Gwynedd Township.

The 591,000 square foot complex, rebranded as the Spring House Technology Park, has 11 buildings and is in close proximity to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Besides office and lab facilities, MRA plans on-site child daycare, a health and fitness center, and a “retail village” with 40,000 square feet of restaurant space, among other amenities.

From the release:

Heather DeFreytas, MRA Group Vice President for Project Design and Management observed, “the opportunities presented on this campus are complex. Design and construction for each building will reflect a balance between technology, innovation, sustainability and the neighboring environment. Though some of the buildings appear tired now, they in fact possess features that are very much desired by space users today. It will not take much to bring them up to MRA standards.”
