Now With Spirits, Ambler Farmers’ Market Becoming a One Stop Shop

We’ve reported earlier on Forest and Main Brewing Company joining the Ambler Farmers’ Market. This will be the third week they are participating at the market and Dan Endicott of Forest & Main has reported that it’s been a successful start. Look for them for the rest of the season at the market with different brews offered weekly.

Craft Beer isn’t the only one getting into the act, now that Pennsylvania’s Act 39 is in effect. For the uninitiated, Act 39 allows local breweries and distilleries to see their wares at Farmers’ Markets and the Ambler Farmers’ Market is taking advantage. This Saturday, Boardroom Spirits joins the market line-up. Out of Lansdale, Boardroom Spirits is a family-owned craft distillery that is passionate about distilling the purest and technically most precise spirits available in the market. They process, ferment, distill, and age their spirits locally, in-house. Their product portfolio includes vodka, fruit infused vodkas, gin, rum, brandies, whiskeys, and specialty distillates.

Keep in mind, the market already featured Cardinal Hollow Winery, a local winery specializing in fruit wines. They have been with the market since the beginning. Also, Frecon Farms brings a variety of seasonal hard ciders.

These are just the adult beverage options at the market. This time of year, the Ambler Farmers’ Market is loaded with fresh. local fruits and vegetables. Monday is back to school for many of our children which means school lunch time! Healthy lunches originate at the farmers’ market. Your son or daughter will love a fresh peach or heirloom tomato sandwich in their lunch! How about some cantaloupe or salad? The variety is practically endless.
