SEPTA released ridership totals during this past weekend’s Papal visit to Philadelphia, and while weekend boards at the Ft. Washington train station dwarfed usual Popeless weekends, far fewer riders than the 10,000 anticipated took the train into Philadelphia. Almost exactly half that amount, to be exact. The Ambler Food Co-op is holding a community event this coming Sunday, September 13th. Located in the parking lot at 217 E. Butler Ave, the Ambler Food Co-op’s Cookbook Swap and Fall Fling will include a cookbook swap (of course) as well as activities for the children including Kid’s Yoga and Hula Hooping. The event is free and open to all.
