On Friday, December 16th, from 6 pm to 7 pm, the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association is offering a Pop-up Holiday Workshop instructing on how to make edible ornaments or birds.

During the winter, birds face a challenge: finding enough food to survive the cold, snowy weather at a time when food is more scarce. You can help by putting out homemade, birdseed ornaments, which also decorate your backyard trees! Since you’ll be taking your ornaments home, be sure to bring a container with you. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Please note ornaments will be made with products containing nuts. Participants must register before December 12th to ensure enough supplies.

The event will take place at the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association 12 Morris Rd, Ambler, Pennsylvania 19002.
