Relay for Life at Upper Dublin High School

The annual Relay for Life begins at Upper Dublin High School on Friday, May 19th, at 4 pm. The event is open to the public and will have live entertainment, contests and games, food, raffles, a silent auction, moon bounce and more.

An anonymous donor has pledged a dollar to the American Cancer Society for every mile walked or ran at the relay so every lap around the track will help towards the goal of 5,000 miles. The public is encouraged to take a few laps to help the cause.

From Upper Dublin Township:

Admission is a $10 per-person donation (excluding cancer survivors and caregivers, registered team members and chaperones) to the American Cancer Society for individuals 12 and over, with a maximum of $20 per family. Each $10 donation entitles the donor to $4 in Relay bucks, accepted anywhere at Relay, except the vendor fair. For more information, contact Brittany MacLeod at brittany.macleod@cancer.org or at 215-985-5339. For a window into the Relay For Life, view this brief student-produced video. The event ends on Saturday, May 20th.
