Fox29 is reporting that the man dubbed as the ‘Straw Hat Bandit’ was arrested yesterday by federal authorities. Between 2012 and 2016, the alleged bank robber, Richard Boyle of Doylestown, robbed 11 banks throughout the County, including 2 in Ambler.

According to Fox29:

Boyle is charged with 11 counts of bank robbery, 10 counts of using or carrying a firearm during the commission of those bank robberies, and 10 counts of money laundering.
