200 Years of African American Art

On Wednesday, March 23rd, a docent from the Philadelphia Museum of Art will visit Ambler’s Senior Adult Activity Center of Montgomery Country to present a past museum exhibit, Represent.

Represent examines the African American experience though different artistic mediums, traditions, subjects and traditions. Artists will include, but are not limited to: Horace Pippin, Henry Ossawa Tanner, Carrie Mae Weems and more.

The presentation begins at 12:30 pm at the Montco SAAC in Ambler and is open to the public.
