The U.S. Geological Survey has reported a 4.4 magnitude earthquake near Dover, DE that shook eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and portions of New York and Connecticut.
The last earthquake felt in the Ambler area was during the summer of 2011 when a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Virginia (our beach chair moved in the sand at the shore). A seismometer at Temple University’s Ambler Campus recorded that quake.
