The nominations for the 2016 Barrymore Awards have been released, and a performer at the Act II Playhouse in Ambler has been nominated.

Sean Thompson has been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical for Kiss Me Kate, which ran during the 2015-2016 season.

Born in Philadelphia, Thompson has a two BAs in Theater and in English from Temple University. He has performed in over 50 professional productions and has many stellar reviews on his past performances.
