There is an Ambler Borough Committee Meeting tonight at 7pm at Ambler Borough Hall.  Some of the things on the agenda are:

Public Safety Committee

St. Mary’s Development – The Borough Engineer provided an update on the St. Mary’s Villa project and the traffic signal at Bethlehem and Lindenwold. Staff will look into grant funding.

Public Utilities Committee

Water Authority– Council’s PUC Committee members and staff met with Harrisburg attorney and the Borough Solicitor to discuss operations options and the logistics of forming a Water Authority.  The Solicitor is preparing a notice of action.

Finance and Planning Committee

Zoning Hearing Board – The Borough has scheduled the following Zoning Hearing Board applications for January 8th, 2019. Rosemary Avenue- garage for vehicle storage and North Main Street- outdoor storage.

Parks and Recreation Committee

Plastics Ordinance – The committee would like to explore a possible Plastics Ordinance in the Borough. they will work with local businesses and discuss options.
