Allen Reyes, 21, of the 900 block of Spring Street, Bristol, recently confessed to assaulting ambulance workers who were transporting him to a Fort Washington hospital. Reyes also admitted to stealing a vehicle from an elderly woman after he fled from the ambulance in Upper Dublin in January 2021.

Reyes allegedly escaped through the back door of the ambulance after punching an ambulance worker who suffered several injuries to his head and face.

Reyes faces felony charges of aggravated assault and robbery of a motor vehicle. He will undergo a mental health evaluation and a background investigation before his sentencing, which could be 11.5 to 23 months in jail.
