Ambler author’s latest book chosen as Philly Library’s ‘One Book, One Philadelphia’ 2024

Sara Nović, a resident of Ambler and a published author, was recently featured by the Philadelphia Inquirer for her latest book, “True Biz”.

The book was chosen for this year’s “One Book, One Philadelphia”, a selection made annually by the Free Library of Philadelphia. The city-sponsored program encourages Philadelphians to read and discuss the same book.

Nović is deaf and lives in Ambler with her partner and their two sons. The book is an adventure yarn about kids who run away from a fictional school for the deaf.

”This is huge,” said Nović. “The deaf community is strong in Philly. People joke in the deaf community that when Philly signers are in the house, you know we are here.”

“True Biz” was also a New York Times Best Seller in 2022.
