Ambler Borough Police Briefs | October 30

THEFT – resident in the 100 block of Reiffs Mill Road reported a package containing a Bratz Doll Dress worth $200.00 stolen when delivered by UPS. The investigation is ongoing

PFA VIOLATION – On October 16th ,Shatyea Whaley 23 years of age of the 5600 block of Heiskell Street, Philadelphia was arrested for violating an active PFA. Police responded to a business in the 200 block of E. Butler Avenue for suspicious activity. Once on seen Whaley was found hiding and in the area of the victim that has a PFA against her. Whaley was taken into custody and transported to station. Once seen by the Judge she was transported to MCCF for PFA violation.

THEFT- On October 17th a resident in the 200 block of Overlook Road reported his package that was delivered earlier in the day was stolen from his property. The value of the package and its contents valued at $117.00. Investigation in this matter is ongoing

THEFT – On October 18th a business owner in the unit block of W. Butler Avenue reported someone stolen his Apple IPad Air2 valued at $600.00 out of his vehicle while parked behind his business. Police arrived and searched the area to no avail. Investigation is ongoing

HARASSMENT – On October 19th, Robert Eugene Wilson 38 years of age of the 200 block of Southern Avenue was arrested after police responded to a male yelling and had broken someone window. On arrival, police found Wilson yelling and challenging people to fight. Police placed Wilson into custody and while speaking with witnesses found out that he punched out the glass in one of his neighbors’ door. Wilson was transported to the station and was held until sober. Wilson will be citied for public drunkenness and criminal mischief
