The Ambler Borough Police Department announced that they are accepting applications for a Probationary Police Officer. The Police Department will be giving a written examination and a physical agility test on Saturday, February 2, 2019 to establish a Civil Service list of applicants for Probationary Police Officer. Applications can be picked up at the Police Department, 131 Rosemary Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002 between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•U.S. Citizen
•Minimum Age: 21 years
•High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
•Graduate of a Certified Pa. Police Academy (Act 120)
•Physically Fit
•Hold a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
•No Offense conviction of a third degree misdemeanor or above
•Live within 25 miles or move within 25 miles within 1 year
Further instructions will be given with the return of the application. Only the first 75 applications will be accepted, and all applications must be completed and returned by Friday, January 25, 2019.
