Ambler’s Sushi Hatsu BYOB to put an Asian spin on Feast of the Seven Fishes

Sushi Hatsu BYOB in Ambler is teaming up with Bravo’s Season 14 “Top Chef” Sylva Senat of The Pyramid Club for an Asian-spin on the Italian Christmas Eve tradition of the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Senat will be teamed with Sushi Hatsu’s sushi chef Mitsutaksa Harada.

“Just because indoor dining has been shut down this year, it doesn’t mean Christmas culinary traditions have to be canceled,” said Chef Harrison Kim of Sushi Hatsu BYOB. “My ‘top chef’ Mitsutaka and Chef Senat and I decided to have a little fun with this iconic Italian feast by utilizing Japanese ingredients and culinary techniques in five unique compositions. The flavors will be different, but the requisite seven seafood items are included.”

The five-course tasting menu, including a complimentary amuse-bouche, costs $120 for two people and is available for pickup on December 24th and 26th, but must be pre-ordered by December 21st. Re-heating instructions and a full ingredient list will be included for each course.
