From the Lower Gwynedd Police Department:

Overnight in Gwynedd Valley, a Landrover was stolen out of a garage. It is believed that the keys were left in the vehicle. We also had several reports of thefts from vehicles in the Penllyn and Ambler sections of town. These vehicles were all believed to be left unlocked. This is a trend that we have seen increase both in Lower Gwynedd and surrounding jurisdictions in the last few monthes. We ask the following:
1. Please lock your vehicles.
2. Please do not leave your keys in the vehicle.
3. Be vigilant. These thefts are occurring in the overnight hours. If you hear or see anything suspicious please call immediately.
