Established vegans and newbies, curious omnivores and adventurous flexitarians from all over are invited to check out the sights, sounds and, of course, FLAVORS of Weavers Way Co-op’s VEGAN FEST on Saturday, June 23rd from 10am-4pm.

Vegan Fest will begin at 10am with yoga in the parking lot with SSP Yoga. The Vegan Fest marketplace opens at 11am, with a vegan marketplace featuring tons of vegan product sampling and demos, LIVE MUSIC, vegan product store tours and a dangerously delicious all-vegan hot bar.

Demonstration workshops will be held throughout the day on topics including Chilled Summer Soups (noon-1pm), Easy Vegan Meal Prep (2-3pm), and Delicious Vegan Desserts (3-4pm).

Visit with adoptable kittens and cats from Brenda’s Cat Rescue; and visit with VEGAN FEST’s official M.C., Philadelphia Celebrity Vegan Vance Lehmkuhl, the blogger behind philly.com’s “V for Veg”.
