E-Waste Collection Day for Ambler

On Saturday, May 14th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Upper Dublin Township Building, Ambler residents will be able to participate in an e-waste collections event.

From the Ambler Borough Website:

Ambler Borough has coordinated with Upper Dublin Township to offer you the opportunity to responsibly recycle obsolete electronics on Saturday, May 14, 2016. This service is available to all residents and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Ambler Borough residents are encouraged to participate. Proof of residency will be required. Please be aware that Montgomery County will not be holding an E-waste collection event in 2016. This is your opportunity to dispose of those electronics you no longer need! Electronics will be recycled by eForce Compliance, Philadelphia’s first Certified Responsible Recycler. eForce Compliance will accept all electronic devices with a plug. NO SMOKE DETECTORS, LARGE APPLIANCES or PROJECTION TVs will be accepted.

The following items will be accepted:

Laptops, Dehumidifiers, Peripherals, Computers, Typewriters, Mice, Telephones, Small Appliances, Microwaves, Fax Machines, Cameras, Keyboards, Cell Phones, Printers, Calculators, Air Conditioners

There are fees for certain items – $20 fee per TV or Computer Monitor and $10 fee per Microwave, Dehumidifier or Air Conditioner.
