Liz Claus, Gwynedd Valley, a fine arts photographer and editor will be exhibiting some of her “Pool” series pieces at Art in the Storefront, beginning on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at the Opening Reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 41 E. Butler Ave., Ambler, adjacent to Denney Electric Supply. Liz studied at Moore College of Art and Design and has had a 30-year career in photojournalism. She worked as a photo editor for The New York Times; The News Journal in Wilmington, Delaware; Bloomberg News in London; and The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi. The “Pool” series is a photographic study exploring the light, texture, and color of a covered swimming pool over the course of the winter season. Intricate and interesting designs and colors emerge according to temperature, moisture, and time of day. Liz captures intimate windows into this otherwise hidden world.
