This has been a season of loss and letting go. We have been disconnected from those we love, had tearful goodbyes through glass walls, experienced the pain of loneliness and separation. We have missed long-awaited celebrations of life. Graduations, holidays, and weddings on hold, pared back, re-scheduled, or canceled. As the pandemic raged on, so did divisions among us, fracturing foundations of friendship and family ties. Even the connections we made through work and school have been altered leaving us to feel… what, exactly? In some ways we are suspended in time, waiting for life to resume. In other ways, we just press on, because what else is there to do. This service is a time to gather as a community, lament the loss, acknowledge the pain, reflect on lessons learned. It is then that we can find meaning and move forward with intentionality. Let’s process, heal, and step forward in faith and love together. Join us on November 21 at 4:30 PM in our sanctuary.
