1. Zoom Book Club

Arts & Culture, Hosted By Upper Dublin Friends (Quaker) Meeting

  2. Took place on Monday, January 11th, 2021 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
  3. Zoom (Online)
  4. Knocked off her feet after twenty years in public health nursing, Iris Graville quit her job and convinced her husband and their thirteen-year-old twin son and daughter to move to Stehekin, a remote mountain village in Washington State’s North Cascades. They sought adventure; she yearned for the quiet and respite of this community of eighty-five residents accessible only by boat, float plane, or hiking. Join us for a Zoom discussion of this and other books that incorporate a Quaker element on the 2nd Monday of each month. We gather at 7PM in Zoom (at least for the foreseeable future), for an evening of light hearted discussions about faith, Quakerism and social change movements (often in novel format), and frequently including the author.
