Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary has been named a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education as an Exemplary High-Performing School.

Gwynedd-Mercy Academy is one of 13 schools in the state, 353 in the country, to receive the honor.

“National Blue Ribbon Schools not only attract new growth in our neighborhoods, but they help grow the future leaders of Pennsylvania and beyond right from our backyard,” State Rep. Melissa Cerrato said. “I’m so proud of Gwynedd-Mercy and its staff and students. Their hard work reflects highly on our community.”

The school previously won the award in 2007 and 2017.
