Join the Upper Dublin Police Department Team | Test Registration Information

The Upper Dublin Township Civil Service Commission, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, will be conducting a written examination for Entry Level Police Officer (Patrol Officer) on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Upper Dublin High School, 800 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034.

All Applicants shall report at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the test. No one will be admitted after 8:30 a.m. All applicants must bring photo ID and two number 2 pencils. No food or drink, cell phones, back packs, hats, weapons, or purses, other than those used to carry personal hygiene items, will be permitted into the testing facility.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
– Be at least 21 years of age before the deadline for submitting completed applications.
– Be a U.S. Citizen.
– Possess a high school diploma or GED.
– Have attained a minimum of 60 college credits from an accredited institution. The 60 credit requirement is waived if you have three (3) years prior law enforcement experience, including military police.
– Possess a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION PASSING SCORE – You must score a minimum of 70% on the written examination. You must have one of the top 50 scores, plus ties, of those taking the test.

INSTRUCTIONS
Beginning Monday, December 16, 2019, at 8:00 a.m., the application will be available on line at https://www.upperdublinrec.net. You will not be permitted to take the examination until you complete the online application and pay the $25.00 fee. No paper applications will be accepted. No checks or money orders will be accepted. Applicants who do not have computer access can go to any public library to complete the online application.

PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST
There will be a physical agility test held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the Upper Dublin High School, 800 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania 19034. You will be notified in writing if you are invited to attend the physical agility test. The standards for successfully completing the physical agility test are listed online at www.mpoetc.state.pa.us using the 30th percentile.
