“Lock For Life” Program Now Available To Whitpain Residents

Whitpain residents now have the opportunity to sign up for the Whitpain Police Department’s “Lock for Life” program. This program provides emergency services to residents that may not be able to open their door in an emergency.

A uniformed police officer will place a key to your home in a storage device secured close to the entrance. The device will have a code that only emergency personnel will have access to. In the event of an emergency, first responders will then be able to enter your home without use of force.

This program is open to all Whitpain residents 55 or older, as well as younger disabled people with medical issues deemed eligible. Click here for more info or here for the application.
