Lower Gwynedd Township’s Board of Supervisors has issued a notice that it will consider adopting a proposed ordinance involving traffic signage in the vicinity of Ambler Yards in the Ambler section of the township. The potential adoption of the ordinance amendment will come during the board’s meeting on Tuesday, July 27th.

In the text of the proposed ordinance, it states that residents have expressed concerns about traffic resulting from people utilizing Brookside Avenue to access Ambler Yards.

The signage as outlined in the text of the proposed ordinance is as follows:

• Brookside Avenue at Spring Garden Street.
  • Two (2) signs to indicate that all traffic must turn left or right and two (2) double arrow signs
• Knight Road at Brookside Avenue.
  • Two (2) signs to read “No thru traffic” to Ambler Yards.
