During a September 22nd meeting, the Lower Gwynedd Township Board of Supervisors awarded the bid for trash collection services to Republic Services of Telford. The township currently uses Waste Management, whose contract ends on October 31st. The new contract will begin on November 1st and continue through October 31, 2023.

Between October 26th to October 31st, new trash toters will be delivered. Collection days will remain Monday and Thursday.

The collection rate is $84.57 per quarter for year one, $87.54 per quarter for year two, and $90.60 per quarter for year three.
