The Lucky Well and Spring Arts Hosting BBQ, Brews, Cocktails and Blues Bash This Sunday

The Lucky Well’s Chef, Chad Rosenthal will be taking his smoker and his BBQ skills to Philadelphia this Sunday for a day-long BBQ bash at the southwest corner of 10th and Hamilton (map it).  This event is open to the public and Chad would love to see lots of Ambler folks show up for the festivities. ( Ambler train schedule here)

There will be two bands playing starting at noon and going until sundown: Slim and the Percolators and Russ Lambert.

Roy Pitz Barrel House is a new brew pub in Philadelphia and along with their award winning beer selections, their liquid artists also brew location specific sour, funk and barrel aged specialties and their brews will be featured on Sunday.

The cocktails that will be served feature two local distillers: Revivalist Gins and Bluebird Distilling.  Revivalist Gins hail from Chester County and produce hand crafted gins, and Bluebird Distilling from Phoenixville creates whiskies from scratch using the best local ingredients possible.

Chad will be donating 25 percent of his profits from the event to the Friends of the Rail Park, who are in the process of revitalizing three miles of unused rail lines into a planned greenway that will serve all Philadelphians and visitors with open space and engaging programs on arts, education, culture, health, and wellness.
