Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale accuses fellow commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh of only social distancing for the camera

During a press conference Tuesday, Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale (R) accused fellow commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh (D) of being a hypocrite when it comes to social distancing. On Monday, Arkoosh criticized Gale for not wearing a mask or isolating himself after he was exposed to the Coronavirus. The third commissioner, Ken Lawrence, tested positive earlier this month.

During his statement, Gale accused Dr. Arkoosh of only social distancing for the cameras, but not while conducting county business. Gale ended his statement by saying he would release a photo on social media and his website that would show all three county commissioners and staff working in a small room together during the pandemic while not practicing social distancing or wearing masks. You can listen to Gale’s statement below:

Below is the photo released by Gale. We texted Gale at 5:09 p.m. yesterday to ask the date the photo was taken, but did not receive a response back.
