Montgomery County Community College will have an “all-gender” cheerleading team this academic year for the first time in the school’s history.
The team will begin performing in community events and games this fall, and participation is open to all registered students.
Tryouts are taking place this week. Interested students can contact athletics@mc3.edu.
“It will really add to school spirit,” Kelly Dunbar, Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation, said in a statement. “Our cheerleading team will be involved with a lot of campus-wide and community events and help support the varsity teams.”
The athletics department is currently seeking an Assistant Coach for the team. To apply, you can click here.
