Montgomery County is looking to hire a full-time Rescue Training Coordinator, an Accounting Tech III – Sheriff, an Adult Probation Officer, an Asset Coordinator – Help Desk Technician, an Assistant District Attorney, and an Assistant to Chief of Homicide, among other positions.
The Rescue Training Coordinator’s job description:
This position is responsible for the design, development, preparation, implementation, and enhancement of detailed training programs for fire/rescue and industrial first responders in the fields of technical rescue, driver training, and traffic incident management. The Rescue Training Coordinator will interface with County, State, and National leaders in the continuous pursuit to keep the Montgomery County fire/rescue community at the forefront of modern rescue theory and practice. They will serve on various local, state, and federal committees/teams related to rescue training and delivery. The coordinator assigns, develops, and assists with the management of approximately 100 part time instructors as necessary to ensure that training programs are delivered in a timely manner. The Rescue Training Coordinator will also support the Department of Public Safety with the development and implementation of online and hybrid training programs utilizing the Canvas Learning Management system.
