According to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal, Montgomery Mall has been put up for sale. This follows news that the mall, which had been owned by a company tied to Simon Property Group (owner of the King of Prussia Mall), defaulted on a loan and faced a $118 million judgment.

According to the article, sources believe the mall will sell for approximately $50 million.
