Music Teacher from Dresher Admits to Sexual Assault on Student

Jeremiah Triplett, 30, of the 1400 block of Limekiln Pike in Dresher, and former music teacher at Archbishop Carroll High School, pleaded guilty in court yesterday to the felony of institutional sexual assault.

Triplett is accused of engaging in sex and drug activities with juvenile female students. He will be sentenced on November 18th by Common Pleas Court Judge James Bradley pending a psychosexual evaluation and Sexual Offenders Assessment Board evaluation.

According to an article in the Delco Times, Triplett remains free on 10 percent of $200,000 bail. Remaining charges including unlawful contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to a minor will be dismissed upon sentencing.
