Q&A with Rock and Roll Legend Bobby Rydell

On Monday, July 17th, you can meet Rock and Roll legend Bobby Rydell at the Upper Dublin Public Library.

Bobby Rydell was born in Philadelphia. Over the course of his career, he had 34 songs in the Top 40 including “Wild One”, “Wildwood Days” and “Volare”. He also had an acting career, his most notable role as Hugo Peabody in the 1963 film adaptation of stage musical Bye Bye Birdie, appearing opposite Ann Margaret.

Mr. Rydell will be selling and signing his new book, Bobby Rydell: Teen Idol on the Rocks. There will also be an informal Q&A with the former teen idol. The books go on sale at 6 pm and then the program begins at 7 pm.

The Upper Dublin Public Library is located on 805 Loch Alsh Ave. in Fort Washington.
