Saint Helena School’s students win “Best in Infrastructure” award at STEM event

Students from the Saint Helena School in Blue Bell recently participated in the Future City Competition for the Philadelphia region and won the award for Best in Infrastructure.

This STEM event included approximately 50 student-built model cities. The models addressed water supply issues that future generations may face. The Saint Helena School’s 6th, 7th, and 8th graders spent time after school, and during lunch to create the city “Bella Alma”.

The purpose of the program was to offer a “hands-on” engineering challenge for middle school students and introduce engineering as a profession.

The Saint Helena School is currently registering new students. You can learn more about the Saint Helena School and how to register here.
