The principal of Lower Gwynedd Elementary, Dr. Michael Walsh has submitted his letter of resignation and his last day will be September 30th. The Wissahickon School district has named Larry Feeley to be interim principal from October 1st through December with the possibility of a portion of January.

The district is seeking input from the community on the type of person they want as a principal and what they believe are the school’s strengths and challenges. It is an anonymous survey and it can be taken here.

Second, there will be a virtual meeting for all parents and guardians on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30 p.m. During this meeting search process for a principal and the timeline will be discussed, along with the opportunity for questions. Parents and guardians will be emailed directly on how to join the meeting.
