Shady Grove Elementary welcomed nearly 50 veterans to their Annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th.

After fundraising this past month, the school was proud to present Leashes of Valor with a $1,600 check. (See featured image)

Each grade sang patriotic songs for the celebration. Earlier this month, SGE 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders also took a field trip to see the WHS Veterans Memorial and shared what Veterans Day means to them. Watch below:
