A blizzard is coming and all around Montgomery County, people are taking precautions. The following townships have declared snow emergencies from Friday evening through Sunday morning.

LOWER PROVIDENCE: A snow emergency will go into effect at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 through 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25. This snow emergency is subject to change. For more details, visit the Lower Providence Township website.
WEST NORRITON: A snow emergency will go into effect at 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 until further notice. For more details, visit the West Norriton Township website.
UPPER MERION: A snow emergency will go into effect at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 until 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25. The end time may be extended due to weather conditions. For more details, visit the Upper Merion Township website.
CONSHOHOCKEN: A snow emergency will go into effect at 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 until further notice. For more details, visit the Conshohocken Borough website.
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN: A snow emergency went into effect at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22 until 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25 (if the current forecast doesn’t change). For more details, visit the West Conshohocken Borough website.
ROYERSFORD: A snow emergency will go into effect Friday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. until further notice. For more details, visit the Royersford Borough website.
UPPER POTTSGROVE: A snow emergency will go into effect Friday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. until noon on Sunday, Jan. 24. For more details visit the Upper Pottsgrove Township website.
