The D’assaro and Musso families, who own The Pizza Box in downtown Ambler, have opened a second restaurant The Lunch Box at Ambler Yards.

Ambler Yards is a mixed-use campus at 300 Brookside Avenue in Ambler (Lower Gwynedd). In addition to being home to professional offices, the campus is home to a co-working space, a brewery, a fitness studio, and an indoor skatepark. It also hosts events such as a seasonal beer garden and outdoor movies.

The Lunch Box’s menu consists of a variety of appetizers, prime rib sandwiches, hot and cold sandwiches, cheesesteaks, flatbreads, wraps, grilled paninis, soups, and more. Pizza will be added in the future.

The Lunch Box offers takeout and dine-in, with indoor and outdoor seating available. You do not have to work at Ambler Yards to visit, the restaurant is open to the public and the current hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To place an order for takeout call (267) 470-4317. When visiting Ambler Yards, there is a large parking area at the main gate (300 Brookside Avenue in Ambler). Once parked, walk through the main gate and walk straight with Building 18 to your left and Building 4 to your right. Once you come to a dead-end, The Lunch Box is to your right in Building 20.

In 2021, AroundAmbler.com reported on the proposed redevelopment of the block where The Pizza Box makes its home in downtown Ambler. If the redevelopment is approved, The Pizza Box will make a temporary home at The Lunch Box, while the new building is constructed. The Pizza Box will then reopen in a new space in the new building.
