Tickets are on sale for Montco Beer Festival. The rebranded festival makes move from Conshohocken to Plymouth Meeting. Shuttles to run from Ambler

The beer festival that was previously known as the Conshohocken Beer Festival has rebranded as the Montco Beer Festival and will be held at Lulu Shriners in Plymouth Meeting on Saturday, October 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival will continue to benefit the Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary (CPW Rotary) and be organized by Burb Media, which publishes MoreThanTheCurve.com, AroundAmbler.com, and GlensideLocal.com.

The move from Conshohocken to Plymouth Meeting was necessitated by a decision by Conshohocken’s Borough Council to not rent A. A. Garthwaite Stadium to the CPW Rotary.

“It’s good to be back,” shared CPW Rotary Club President Joe Robinson. “We’re excited to bring the beer fest back for 2022 in a new location while we continue to feature amazing breweries. It’s always one of the most fun days of the year for us and our friends, and this one will be no different.  Can’t wait to see everyone in October!”

Attendees of the Montco Beer Festival will enjoy beer from dozens of breweries, plus a mix of ciders, wine, seltzers, and for the first-time canned cocktails. Attendees purchase a ticket that allows them to sample the adult beverages while listening to live music from Staycation and enjoy great food with approximately 2,000 of their closest friends.

“Well Crafted Beer Company is excited to be a part of the Montco Beer Festival 2022,” shared Nica Bellenger, a Plymouth Meeting resident who owns the Lansdale and Ambler-based brewery with her husband and another partner. “It’s a great time of year to share a beer with friends and see what’s new and local.”

“We are excited to be pouring beer at the Montco Beer Festival,” stated Andrew Coligan, director of sales for Conshohocken Brewing. “As it is in our own backyard, we are looking forward to seeing so many of our neighbors and local beer enthusiasts.”

“We are excited to bring the clean and smooth taste of KLYR Rum to Montgomery County with our new canned cocktails, KLYR Water and KLYR Crush, shared Amish Patel, owner of KLYR Rum. “The Montco Beer Festival will be a fantastic event with like-minded drinkers and we can’t wait to showcase our newest products in our own backyard among our neighbors!”

The Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary supports local and international service projects. They work with various local organizations, such as the Colonial Neighborhood Council, Cradles to Crayons, Today is a Good Day, NAMI, and local libraries and schools. The club also sponsors high school students for an annual youth leadership retreat and awards several annual scholarships to PWHS students. Internationally, they support Smiles for Guatemala, the Karama Education Center (Uganda), and the Gayatri Public School (India). The Conshohocken Beer Festival raised significant funds for the CPW Rotary’s mission in the local community and beyond. It looks forward to continuing that success with the Montco Beer Festival.

Tickets for the event are $50, which includes a cup to sample the adult beverages and transportation via shuttle service. There are two types of designated driver tickets, one that provides access to the event and transportation for $15, and one for $30 that includes an on-site parking pass. Only those with the $30 designated driver ticket will be permitted to park at the venue. Details on shuttles from Conshohocken and Ambler will be provided closer to the event date. Services like Uber and Lyft will also be permitted to drop attendees off at the festival.
