Trail Steward Hikes – Ambler Connection

Beginning Sunday, April 24th, at 4 pm, this Spring the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association will be offering Trail Steward Hikes exploring the trails of Ambler. The hikes will begin and end at Forest and Main in Ambler.

Join Harm Scherpbier and Dan Greeley on an exploration of the Green Ribbon Trail from Ambler Borough. Hike along the trail as well as the newly opened trail along the Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve This hike will show you 3 ways to connect from Ambler into the Green Ribbon trail. Difficulty: easy. Distance: 2 miles. Duration ~ 2 hours. Bad weather will cancel. We’ll begin and end at Forest and Main, staying for a drink after the hike!

The event is free and there is no registration required.
