Update on the effort to reopen Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting

Plymouth Township Council Member Karen Bramblett posted an update on Chemical Road on social media on June 27th. According to Bramblett, PennDOT has awarded the contract to make the repairs to the road that has been closed between Gallagher Road and Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting since March 26th due to sinkholes.

Bramblett further shared that the work is scheduled to begin this summer and is projected to be completed by December.

Earlier this month a reader sent us a link to a website that had the RFP for the project listed, but we were unable to access it. We plan to follow up with PennDOT to find out what the scope of the work entails.
