Update on trash, recycling, and yard waste collection in Upper Dublin Township

Upper Dublin Township has announced that its public works department will do additional sweeps of yard waste collections this week in the impacted areas (view map).

The top section of the map will have additional collections on Wednesday and Friday. The bottom section will have additional collections on Tuesday and Thursday. Residents are asked to place their green tote or yard bags at the curb by 1:00 p.m. The crews will collect until 5:00 p.m. in these areas.

The collection that was to take place on Monday, September 6th was rescheduled for Wednesday, September 8th.

If your brown tote is missing or was damaged in the storm, you should place all trash in trash bags (kitchen bags or black trash bags are acceptable) at the curb.

Residents are asked to place no more than five bags per household and keep each bag to under 50 pounds. There should be no housing or building materials in these bags. This is only for residents in areas impacted by the storm.

If your green totes are missing or were damaged in the storm, you should use yard bags instead. Each household can place up to 10 bags/bundles and bundles must not exceed 5′ in length and 50 pounds. Branches with a diameter greater than 5″ will not be taken. This is only for residents in areas impacted by the storm.
