Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd Township Police Departments Participating in Statewide Crackdown on Aggressive Driving

The Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd Township Police Departments will conduct aggressive-driving enforcement activities as part of a statewide wave from July 6th through August 27th. Over 206 municipal police agencies and the Pennsylvania State Police will target motorists exhibiting aggressive-driving behaviors such as red light running, speeding, tailgating and failing to steer clear of emergency vehicles.

Municipal police agencies that participated in the 2016 campaign wrote 45,136 citations, including 28,235 for speeding, 1,655 for occupant protection violations, 2,807 for red light violations and 132 impaired driving arrests.
