Upper Dublin resident Ben Zauzmer, a baseball statistician and assistant general manager for the New York Mets, has taken on a handsome side hustle: predicting Oscar’s outcomes.

In 2019, he wrote a book called Oscarmetrics: The Math Behind the Biggest Night in Hollywood. Since then, he’s been asked to make official picks for publications like the Hollywood Reporter. In 2022, Ben caught attention for accurately predicting 19 out of 20 categories.
