Wake Coffee Moves Into New Location

Wake Coffee is temporarily closing their retail shop at 224 South Maple Street for the rest of the month as they move their operation to a new location at 133 S. Main Street in Ambler.

We introduced you to Wake Coffee back in October ( see article here) and after recently speaking with owners and operators, Alec Satterly and Christina Rizzetta, they informed us that when they bought Parry Roasters last fall, their goal was to build a brand around the community of Ambler and work on building up the business, which now includes moving their operations to a new location. Christina added:

Our goal from day one was to build and open a coffee shop. We spent some time checking out different buildings around Ambler but could not find the right one. Finally a month and a half ago we found our future home at 133 S Main St. The building was a former granite facility then before that a gas station. We felt that the place has good vibes with all of the natural sun light, parking, and large side lot. With that said, we are opening a 1200 sq ft. coffee shop with a 3,000 sq ft “coffee” garden/ courtyard. Our roasting operations will be based out of the back of the building which will be visible through a glass wall from the coffee shop area. Our goal is to provide a great space for the community to come together for great coffee and food while enjoying the outdoor space where we will host events throughout the year.

Wake’s roating operations were moved into the new space this week, but the coffee shop and exterior will not be completed until the first week of June. There will be a 300 sqaure foot take out coffee shop and retail space open during the construction in the front of the space, which will hopefully open the first week in March.

You can still get your Wake beans online where there is free shipping, but if you live in the 19002 zip code, Wake will deliver to your door.
