Whitpain nine-year-old pens book to help educate and inspire kids about money

Nine-year-old Nadia Cropley from Whitpain Township recently published Kids and Money: The 5 Stacks Method with her mother that she hopes will educate and inspire other kids about a topic that is not discussed often: money.

Earlier in the summer, shortly before her 9th birthday, the Shady Grove Elementary School student started cleaning cars in her neighborhood as a way to earn money and be productive. As she grew the business, she began to wonder about how to use her earnings wisely. That’s how the idea for The 5 Stacks was born. She also wanted to share with other children the lessons learned and tips she discovered from the experience of starting her own business.

From the Amazon.com description of the book:

From GIVING to INVESTING, the book contains examples and activities that will get your kids thinking about money differently. Nadia also shares how she started her business and the lessons she has learned.

She plans to donate copies of her book to her school library, her classroom library, and the public libraries in Ambler and Blue Bell.

The book is currently available on Amazon.
